The National Federation of Builders (NFB) held its second awards gala luncheon in central London recently. In association with NHBC and Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) the awards celebrate some of the best talent in the construction industry. Against tough competition, Bentier was recognised for its Moreton House project in Berkshire which was a finalist in the New Build Of The Year category.
Andrew Tier of Bentier comments: “We are delighted that Moreton House was recognised by the judges as a contender this year for the ‘New Build Of The Year’ category. The property is an excellent example of a superbly designed home for family living with fluid, light filled living spaces and an outstanding specification. Great attention has been given to the external appearance, internal layouts and the overall specification of the property.”
Hosted by NFB chief executive Julia Evans, the imposing Grand Connaught Rooms in London formed the setting for this much anticipated ceremony. More than a 180 members and guests came together from all over the country to see thirteen national winners and seven highly commended finalists collect their awards. Following lunch, the awards ceremony began in earnest, and guests were able to show their appreciation and celebrate the high quality work and commitment delivered by members across the country.
Julia Evans told the audience: “The entries this year have been marvellous. To everyone who has entered, thank you, and to our shortlisted members, very well done for getting this far. You represent all the hard work and effort that has been needed at every level of the industry in the past few years, to overcome barriers, to deal with the changing world of construction, and to think and act in new ways.
